For when 100 kS/s runs out. Sixteen to thirty-two inputs at 250 kS/s, or 400 kS/s on the 6212 and 6216, with two 16-bit outputs, up to 32 digital lines and 60 V channel-to-ground isolation on the 6215, 6216 and 6218 — enough to sit on a machine frame without dragging the noise in.
Front and top views of the module. Enclosure, terminal style and silkscreen vary by model — confirm the exact part number before ordering.
Jumping from the low-cost tier buys you 16 or 32 inputs sampling at 250 kS/s — 400 kS/s on the USB-6212 and USB-6216 — fast enough to catch current ripple on a motor drive or the edge of a switching event without reaching for an oscilloscope.
The 6215, 6216 and 6218 put 60 V of channel-to-ground isolation between your laptop and the machine. The ground loop stops at the module instead of turning into a noise floor problem.
Encoder position, flow pulses, event counting and frequency measurement — all four on one module, without giving up an analog channel to do it.
Pick the wiring that matches the harness you already have. BNC versions connect straight to IEPE sensors; mass termination keeps 32 channels in one connector.
All models share the same driver and software support. Terminal options vary — check the Terminal column in the table below.
